Despite the innumerable evidence of Israel’s widespread destruction and genocide in Gaza, the Israeli lobby has long since launched a discursive war on Palestine, denying the genocide that is taking place, and delegitimising the suffering and experiences of Palestinians through the language of terrorism.

This panel aims to provide reflections on and challenges of the discursive war that has facilitated the genocide within Western media and politics and explore mechanisms of how language can be reclaimed.
